About Capstone
A little more care. A lasting relationship.
Insurance begins with a policy.
Good care begins with a person.
We’re an independent agency built around the belief that you deserve to be known, understood, and thoughtfully protected.
Less worry. More room for living.
Thoughtful by nature.
Personal by name.
A name with meaning. A promise of care.
It starts with peace.
At the heart of Capstone is a faith-rooted idea: “Tetelestai”—“it is finished.” For our founder, it is a reminder that peace comes from a firm foundation, not from carrying everything alone.
That belief shapes the way we serve. We want insurance to feel less like one more thing to worry about, and more like a relationship you can lean on.
Built by a coach. Made for your team.
Former football coach Ben Caudill founded Capstone to bring the same steady commitment to the families and businesses around him: listen closely, explain clearly, and keep showing up.
From your first apartment to the business you’re building, we take the time to understand what matters to you.
Different carriers.
Same side of the table.
Our relationship is with you.
Our search starts with your needs.
A wider view.
A captive agent typically represents one insurance company. An independent agency can work with multiple carriers, giving you more options to consider.
A clearer choice.
We help you compare the things that matter—not just the price, but coverage, limits, deductibles, and the details behind them.
A steady connection.
Your needs change. We stay in touch, revisit your coverage, and help you navigate the next decision with confidence.
Built by a coach.
Made for your team.
A small team. A personal approach. Get to know the people looking after what matters to you.

He is a graduate of Harding University where he began a career in education and coaching football that spanned 14 years.
Most recently, Ben served as the head football coach at Stewarts Creek High School in Smyrna, TN for 6 seasons until January of 2026. He orchestrated an unprecedented era of growth for the Red Hawks program, and oversaw the first playoff victory in program history and first trip to the 6A Quarterfinals in 2024. He was named the Region 5-6A coach of the year and also earned the Rutherford County Pigskin Award for Excellence in 2024. Ben oversaw the fundraising, underwriting and installation of the turf football field at SCHS (a project totaling $790,000), and was also instrumental in the establishment of the Stewarts Creek Youth Football League in 2021. He remains the winningest coach in program history.
Ben still has the heart of a coach and educator in his new role as Owner of Capstone National. He viewed his role as a coach as a steward of the program’s resources and facilities. He is now joining his clients as co-stewards in their most valuable assets – their home, autos, business and life.
Ben has been married to his wife, Alice, since June of 2016. They have three children, George – 9, Max – 7, and Sally – 2.
